Greenfield’s President Brad Herndon and President-Elect Jeannine Gray were excited to represent their club at the April Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce annual dinner. The club had been one of three organizations nominated for the Non-Profit of the Year award. We have a second Gift of Life (GOL) patient for this Rotary year! Salima and her mother Soueba, plus an escort from Togo (Anna), arrived from Togo (Africa) May 3 and settled in to the Ronald McDonald House. Little Salima is just shy of one-year-old, but about the size of a 6-month-old. She had a huge VSD and had surgery the week of May 8 at Riley Children’s Hospital with Dr. Mark Turrentine.
