An informative and entertaining program is planned for the Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, 2009 at the District 6560 Conference in Indianapolis.
The 2009 district conference will be held at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites, 8787 Keystone Crossing in Indianapolis. This location, Keystone at the Crossing, is conven-ient to both downtown and is easily accessible from all part of district 6560. The hotel’s two 12-story towers offer 560 spacious rooms and suites. The Fashion Mall, connected to the hotel by a skywalk offers over 100 upscale stores. This location also allows you easy ac-cess to Indianapolis’ many museums, sports attractions, cultural events, and all that Indian-apolis has to offer.
We have rooms reserved at an advanta-geous rate. We expect to have baby-sitting available with the help of Interact, Rotaract and Rotary Youth Exchange helpers.
The Conference will include training opportuni-ties, an extensive House of Friendship and the opportunity to get better acquainted with our district members. There will be programs on Rotary subjects provided by Rotary Interna-tional and
our district staff. There will be programs on the Rotary theme, “Make Dreams Real.” The theme of the conference is to be, “World Peace and Understanding.” We have in-vited several world leaders in this area. The conference promises to be a significant light on probably the most important issue that faces people all over the world.
Drive time to the conference should not exceed an hour and fifteen minutes from the furthest club in the district.. Plan to attend and be present as history is made as we celebrate Making Dreams Real.
